About Tayte

Tayte Willows cares deeply about the community of Cornwall-Meadowbank and the people who call it home. Tayte believes we can do politics differently by listening, working together, and taking action on issues that impact our daily lives. She hopes to help build a province where Islanders feel supported and hopeful about what comes next.

Tayte is a life-long community volunteer with organizations, including the PEI Military Family Resource Centre, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Cornwall Christian Church and Westwood Primary School. 

Tayte holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Bachelor of Arts from Maritime Christian College. She also earned a Master of Applied Health Service Research where her work focused on the lived experience of managing chronic health conditions. Her professional experience spans both the non-profit and public sectors, with a focus on policy development, program evaluation, and improving services for individuals, families, and communities.

Tayte lives in Cornwall with her husband Greg, their three children, and their beagle Archie. She is deeply connected to her community and values the strong schools, accessible green spaces, and the kindness of neighbours that make Cornwall-Meadowbank such a special place to live and raise a family.

Tayte Willows was elected as the MLA for District 16 Cornwall-Meadowbank on July 13, 2026. She serves as the Green Party’s Health critic in the Legislative Assembly of PEI.
