Bill No. 110 – An Act to Amend the Highway Traffic Act (No. 4)

On November 12, 2019 Mr. Stephen Howard, MLA District 22 Summerside-South Drive, introduced a private members bill to amend the Highway Traffic Act.

This bill amends the Highway Traffic Act to prohibit a person from parking in an electric vehicle charging space unless the person is charging their electric vehicle or is the owner or lessee of the parking space. It would also introduce a fine for violating these provisions.
