Equal Pay Day

On April 21, 2022, Trish Altass, MLA for Tyne Valley-Sherbrooke, gave a member statement to recognize Equal Pay Day and to raise awareness of the gender pay gap. She also pointed to legislation to create pay transparency that she sponsored last year. The legislation became law in the Fall of 2021.
