Taking care of women’s business. Period.

On February 24, 2022, Karla Bernard, MLA for District 12 Charlottetown-Victoria Park gave a member statement about the effects of period poverty and highlighted the annual February campaign to tackle this – “Taking Care of Women’s Business. Period.” She also called on Minister Jameson who is responsible for the status of women to honour her commitment to make period products freely available in all Island schools, shelters, and food banks.
