Trick or Treat?

On November 1, 2022, Peter Bevan-Baker, MLA New Haven-Rocky Point and Leader of the Official Opposition, gave a member statement on the King government’s “surprise” surplus. He says “Yesterday’s announcement, welcome as it undoubtedly was, was not crafted around the needs of all the Islanders who have suffered through the last few unparalleled painful months, but rather around the political needs of this government.” More trick than treat!
